An extended partnership between Sky and BT will allow BT TV customers to record and watch back all NOW TV channels on demand.
A new extension and expansion to the partnership between BT and Sky in the UK and Ireland will see greater integration between BT TV and NOW TV that will allow users to record live content for the first time.
It mean users of BT TV services will be able to not only watch NOW TV content as it is broadcast and on-demand, but also save it for later viewing as an integrated part of the BT TV platform.
BT will sell NOW TV on Sky's behalf, providing its customers in the UK with access to channels including Sky One, Sky Atlantic and Sky Living, as well as all the Sky Cinema and Sky Sports channels.
The extended partnership will come into effect next summer, just in time for the start of the 2019/20 Premier League season, which will again be available across BT and Sky channels, and will ensure customers can continue to watch 180 live games with a single subscription that brings together Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Stephen van Rooyen, Chief Executive Officer at Sky UK and Ireland, said: "With NOW TV at the heart of BT's TV offering, Sky's TV entertainment brands will be available to all UK consumers through every major pay TV service."
